Hi everyone! Welcome to the Heit Music Productions website. My name is Jessica Heit, and since this section of the website is about "me" I figured I wouldn't give you a longwinded synopsis of my life, but rather a few things that I considered to be the least boring and most entertaining aspects of myself. Enjoy.
- I once was a "Yooper"
- I graduated college with an associate's degree in Liberal Arts.
- I own a unicycle. I have yet to master the technique of riding it...
- Besides music, photography is my other love.
- People tell me that I am an exceptional baker. I enjoy baking cookies, cake, bread, pie, etc. but my all time favorite is white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies.
- It is a pretty common fact that most girls like flowers, but I LOVE them! I think this is primarily my grandmother's fault. When I was little, I would spend most of my time at her house outside, captivated by her amazing flower garden. Proudly, I would march inside the house with huge bouquets, arranging them "just right" and putting them out for display on her dining room table. It is an infatuation that has followed me to this day.
- If I had four copies of myself, I could potentially take care of a whole wedding as the musician, photographer, florist, and baker!
- I have one cat. His name is Mufasa. And yes, the name came from the movie The Lion King.
- Sushi is amazing!
- Traveling = my life. I have been all over the U.S. and to Europe, jumping at any opportunity to pack up my suitcase and go on a road-trip.
- I once caught a 75 lb fish in Alaska.
- Reeses pieces and popcorn are my favorite to eat at the movie theater. I can't have one without the other.
- I used to live on a farm.
- One of my favorite bands is Switchfoot, but I like a very wide range of music with too many examples to list here!!! No rap music for me though =)
- I would love to learn how to fly a plane someday.
- I love to read! Nothing compares to getting lost in the pages of a really good book.
- When I started playing the violin at age 7, I never imagined that it would become part of my career. But, that is what is so great about it! My job is to perform: to make music that I love and to share it with others - I couldn't ask for a better one.
